Indian Trail community landscape

The Candidate

Meet Jay Sweet

A lifelong commitment to Indian Trail — and the experience to back it up.

Rooted in Indian Trail

Jay Sweet has called the Indian Trail Improvement District home for years, watching the community grow, face challenges, and come together. That firsthand experience isn't just personal — it's the foundation of everything Jay brings to this race for Seat #1.

From navigating the complexities of South Florida's water management systems to understanding the day-to-day impact of road conditions on families and businesses, He has developed a practical, ground-level expertise that no briefing document can replace.

Jay believes that effective local government starts with showing up — attending meetings, listening to neighbors, and making decisions based on facts, not politics. That's the standard He will bring to the ITID board.

Indian Trail deserves a board member who treats this seat as a responsibility, not a title. I'm running because I believe our community's infrastructure — our canals, our roads, our drainage systems — deserves serious, experienced attention.

— Jay Sweet, Candidate for ITID Seat #1
